Being creative and offering NON-cheesy and very FUN entertainment options and ideas that will create One GREAT Entertainment Experience! About The Party Machine

The Party Machine was birthed in the summer of 1993 by our owner Jeff Hayes with our first party (Kravet Fabrics) on Saturday December 4, 1993. The vision was a long time in the making. Jeff had a passion for music and entertainment from the young age of 8 years old. Jeff left a 12 year radio career to begin The Party Machine; he worked for some powerful Upstate FM radio stations like 107 WANS, MY 102.5, Whistle 100 and 93.3 WBBO. (read his story on his bio HERE)
The Party Machine began as a part-time seasonal business to perform Christmas parties and high school proms. However, a few months after beginning more and more people saw The Party Machine performing and due to our style of professional, yet FUN and NON-cheesy entertainment methods, we soon became in high demand. It did not take long to increase from dozens of events per year to hundreds.
We soon begin to entertain at almost every type party imaginable. From Christmas, Schools, Birthdays, to adding Wedding Receptions and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs soon The Party Machine soared us into exponential growth.
In the mid 90's we landed a partnership with the 858 in downtown Greenville. It was a 70's and 80's disco retro party called FUNKY FRIDAY which took place every Friday night at the 858 for years. FUNKY FRIDAY was no doubt the longest running party in Upstate history. This turned out to be one of the biggest opportunities of the 90's. Which in turn soared us again into another whole category all by ourselves. More and more clients came onto our phones, but we simply could not handle all the business and The Party Machine was in a sold out situation more than we were available.
Another of the company’s large events was the DOWNTOWN ALIVE after parties hosted in the parking lot of The 858. The Party Machine hosted these parties for several years. Party goers by the thousands came and danced the night away under the stars in the parking lot as soon as they left DOWNTOWN ALIVE..
Then came the Hotel New Years Eve parties, which in just mere numbers can be some of the single largest one night events all by themselves.
So, you may ask yourself, has The Party Machine really performed at over 5,000 events and entertained over ONE MILLION PEOPLE? And, the answer...
Absolutely!
Today, the backbone of The Party Machine is wedding receptions. While we entertain at many other types of events, wedding receptions account for over 80% of our business. We love wedding receptions and believe that we have a program that is second to NONE! The foundation for the company’s success in reception entertainment consists of Jeff’s three core beliefs:
1) Listen to the clients and understand what they want.
2) Understand trends and the difference between what's hip and what's cheesy.
3) Provide the perfect flow and atmosphere (the right song at the right time) during the reception.
Jeff’s strong commitment to his core beliefs ensures that only the best quality people are team members of The Party Machine.
